Instructor Application

We hire people who love working with groups of elementary and/or middle school aged children. We provide the training and supplies. You provide your experience and personality. Our instructors must have a dependable transportation, like working with children and having prior experience working with groups of children is helpful. If you enjoy working with children, this is the job for you! Art experience helpful, but not necessary. We welcome retired teachers and college students studying Developmental Education seeking to work with school aged children. Must be upbeat – “Kid Magnets" Welcome.

Typically, our after school classes are held Mon-Friday during the time frame of 1:30-5:30 (actual time depends on the specific school site, each class is 1-2 hour with 15 minutes of set up and 15 minutes of clean up)

We offer after school instructors very part-time work. Teaching time is about 1.5 hrs per class. Generally our instructors work 2-3 days per week for a total of 3-7 hours per week.

KidzArt Instructors typically work a few hours a week. Full-time positions are available during camp season or for administrative/sales (but are often p/t as well).
